Lady in Red

Wednesday 26 October 2016 Daphne Griffith was recently awarded an Order of Australia Medal in recognition of her work as a volunteer not only with the Royal but also with the Red Cross and St John’s Ambulance. Daphne has been volunteering at RBWH for 35 years.  She first started in 1979 as a Cherry Lady with the RBWH Auxiliary.  Since then she has held many positions throughout the hospital, most recently helping with various administration duties in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department, as well as Physiotherapy.  Daphne recently made the decision to retire and take a well-deser...
