Thank you, Zonta Brisbane Sunrise, your donations from the heart are helping heal our most vulnerable patients at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).
For the past six years, Zonta Brisbane Sunrise has embraced some of the most vulnerable patients at RBWH: victims of sexual assault and women undergoing breast surgery.
This week the wonderful team delivered care packages of new clothing and toiletries for victims of sexual assault, and home-made breast care cushions for post-operative care of breast cancer patients.

“We get really positive feedback about the packs, with comments that they’re the prettiest thing the recipients have or have been given for a long time," said Mary Brown, Team Leader, RBWH Sexual Assault Response Team.
"As survivors of sexual assault, these women are often highly vulnerable and having somebody who shows them genuine care and concern is really important in their journey.”
