General Conditions of Eligibility

  1. All registered participants of Royal Run for Research (the Royal Run for Research) who have completed their registration form and have an active fundraising page are eligible to participate in challenges and win prizes.  
  2. The Royal Run for Research and all challenges which form a part of the Royal Run for Research, is organised by the RBWH Foundation (ABN 37 882 212 480). 
  3. The Royal Run for Research is open to Australian residents who are aged 18 years or over. If you are under 18 years of age and wish to participate in the Royal Run for Research, please contact fundraise@rbwhfoundation.com.au.   
  4. The Royal Run for Research is a free event and does not require any fee to participate. 
  5. RBWH Foundation collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in the Royal Run for Research and associated challenges, and for other marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Collection Statement. 

Prizes

  1. Only Qualifying Participants will enter challenges and the associated draw for prizes. To qualify, all terms and conditions of a specific challenge must be met. 
  2. Qualifying Participants may not win more than one (1) prize per challenge. There are no bonus prizes to be awarded for individual challenges. 
  3. If a participant qualifies for more than one Challenge, they will automatically enter the draw for that Challenge. 
  4. The winners of prizes will be notified via email, SMS or a phone call. Delivery or pick up of prizes can be arranged, this depends on the winner’s preference. Please ensure your contact details are updated for this purpose.  
  5. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. 
  6. RBWH Foundation reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Qualifying Participants (including identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any Qualifying Participants who submit an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions or who tamper with the entry process.  
  7. RBWH Foundation is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Royal Run for Research and associated challenges. 

Draw

    1.  This is a game of chance. The Prize winner(s) will be randomly drawn by the Organiser from the pool of Qualifying Participants within 48 hours of the close of the challenge.  
    2. This activity will be undertaken at RBWH Foundation’s head office. RBWH Foundation’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

    2. The challenge commences from 9.00am AEST on 17 February 2025 and will end when the first 50 participants have completed registering.  
    3. Entry is automatic and limited to one per person.  
    4. Please provide your t-shirt size in the registration form. If your size is no longer available at the time of shipment, you will be provided with the next available closest size.   

    Prizes and Rewards

    1. The first 50 Qualifying Participants will receive a Royal Run for Research branded t-shirt. 
    2. Qualifying Participants may not receive more than one (1) prize. There are no bonus prizes to be awarded.  

    Invite a Friend & Win a $500 HelloFresh eGift Card

    1. All instructions outlined in ‘General Eligibility’ apply to this challenge. 
    2. The challenge commences at 9.00am AEST on 17 February 2025 and ends at 11.59pm AEST Monday 31 March 2025. 
    3. This Challenge is open to Australian residents who register to participate in the Royal Run for Research 2025; and 
      1. Sends an individual a link to register for the Royal Run for Research(the Registration Link) using the ‘Invite a friend’ or 'Join my team' functions on the participant dashboard, and that individual successfully registers for the event using the Registration Link sent to their email address, by 11.59pm AEST Monday 31 March 2025; OR 
      2. Receives a Registration Link from a registered participant and successfully registers for the event via the Registration Link by 11.59pm AEST Monday 31 March 2025 
    4. Both the registered participant and the individual they invite will enter the draw automatically as two separate and individual entries. 

    Prizes and Rewards

    1. The prize is a Hello Fresh eGift Card valued at $500 inclusive of GST. 
    2. This is an electronic prize and does not require to be shipped to a postal address. 
    3. A draw will decide the winner of the challenge. Refer to ‘Draw’ section under ‘General Eligibility’. 
    4. A winner will be drawn from the pool of Qualifying Participants within 48 hours of the challenge end.  
    5. The winner will be notified personally via email or phone. 
    6. If the winner accepts the results of the draw, The prize will be emailed to them after confirming a valid email address. 
     

    Race to Register and Win

    General Conditions of Eligibility

    2. The Challenge will begin at 9 am AEST Friday, 21 March and end on 11.59pm AEST Monday, 31 March. 
    3. Within the Challenge Period, all new registrations will automatically enter the draw. 
    4. Entry limited to one per person. 
     

    Prizes and Rewards

    1. The prize is a Visa Gift Card valued at $100 inclusive of GST.  
    2. There are 3 prizes of equal value available in this Challenge. Therefore, 3 winners will be chosen from the draw. 
    3. A draw will decide the winners of this challenge. Refer to ‘Draw’ section under ‘General Eligibility’. 
    4. A winner will be drawn from the pool of Qualifying Participants by 11.59pm AEST 2 April 2025. The winner will be notified personally via email or phone.
     

     

    Make a self donation to win a Frank Green bottle

    1. All instructions outlined in ‘General Eligibility’ apply to this challenge. 
    2. The Challenge will begin at 9.00am AEST on 17 February 2025 and end on 11.59pm AEST Monday, 31 March. 
    3. The Challenge is open to all Australian Residents who have registered to participate in the Royal Run for Research 2025 and raise $20 or more in self-donations during the Challenge Period.  
    4. Self-donations can be made from the Fundraiser Dashboard after logging in, or as regular donations on the fundraiser page.  
    5. The participant is free to make as many self-donations as they would like to make. 
    6. Entry is automatic and limited to one per person.  


     

    Prizes and Rewards

    1. The prize is one of five Frank Green water bottles valued between $50-$100 inclusive of GST, subject to availability. 
    2. There are five prizes of equal value available in this Challenge. Therefore, five winners will be chosen from the draw. 
    3. A draw will decide the winners of this challenge. Refer to ‘Draw’ section under ‘General Eligibility’. 
    4. Winners will be drawn from the pool of Qualifying Participants by 11.59pm AEST Wednesday, 2 April 2025. The winners will be notified personally via email or phone. 


     

    Run, Walk, Fundraise – Holiday Edition!

    1. All instructions outlined in ‘General Eligibility’ apply to this challenge. 
    2. The Challenge will begin at 11.59pm AEST Friday, 4 April and end on 11.59pm AEST Sunday, 13 April. 
    3. The Challenge is open to all Australian Residents who have registered to participate in the Royal Run for Research 2025 and raise $20 or more in donations during the Challenge Period.  
    4. Self-donations will be counted towards the total donations received.  
    5. Participants who are part of a team, will be counted as individual entries to the draw.  
    6. Entry is automatic and limited to one per qualifying participant.



      

    Prizes and Rewards

    1. The prize is a Sea World Resort family stay valued at $500 inclusive of GST.  
    2. The prize is meant for a family holiday stay of 4 persons – 2 adults and 2 children. 
    3. A draw will decide the winner of this challenge. Refer to ‘Draw’ section under ‘General Eligibility’. 
    4. A winner will be drawn from the pool of Qualifying Participants by 11.59pm AEST Tuesday, 15 April 2025. The winner will be notified personally via email or phone. 
    5. If the winner accepts the results of the draw, the prize will be emailed to them after confirming a valid email address.  

    Step into the $200 Club

    General Conditions of Eligibility

    1. All instructions outlined in ‘General Eligibility’ apply to this challenge. 
    2. The Challenge will begin at 9.00am AEST on 17 February 2025 and end on 11.59pm AEST Wednesday, 30 April. 
    3. The Challenge is open to all Australian Residents who have registered to participate in the Royal Run for Research 2025 and raise $200 or more in donations during the Challenge Period.  
    4. Qualifying Participants who raise more than $200 but less than $500 will be entered in this draw. Those who raise $500 and above will automatically qualify to enter another draw. Refer to ‘The $500 Legends Club’ terms and conditions. 
      1. It is possible for a qualifying participant to enter both draws by end of challenge. 
    5. Self-donations will be counted towards the total donations received.  
    6. This is an individual challenge. Entry is automatic for all Qualifying Participants. 
    7. Entry limited to one per person.

    2. The Challenge will begin at 9.00am AEST on 17 February 2025 and end on 11.59pm AEST Wednesday, 30 April. 
    3. The Challenge is open to all Australian Residents who have registered to participate in the Royal Run for Research 2025 and raise $500 or more in donations during the Challenge Period.  
    4. Self-donations will be counted towards the total donations received.  
    5. There is no limit on the number of self-donations an individual wishes to make.  
    6. This is an individual challenge. Entry is automatic for all Qualifying Participants. 
    7. Entry limited to one per person.

    Challenge Period:
    9:00 AM, 14 March 2025 - 11:59 PM, 16 March 2025. 

    Register before 31 March and enter the draw to win 1 of 20 limited edition Royal Run for Research T-shirts.

    4. This 48-hour challenge is for new registration only. 
    5. Please provide your t-shirt size in the registration form. If your size is no longer available at the time of shipment, you will be provided with the next available closest size.
