Cluny Seager

Cluny Seager graduated from what was then known as the Brisbane Hospital in 1964 before going to on work at Greenslopes Hospital. She then moved to Sydney and practiced private nursing for many years. Cluny went on to serve as a nurse stationed at 1 Military Hospital at Yeronga for two years before assisting as a theater sister in radiology treatments for heart disease in Melbourne. Cluny eventually left nursing for 20 years, practicing occasionally when on annual leave from her full time employment. As the Former President of the Royal Brisbane Hospital’s Nurses’ Association and Nursing Museum, Cluny has made a huge contribution to preserving the history of nursing in Queensland.
