The world unites, May 5, for #GivingTuesdayNow
Together we stand. Together we heal. Together we give.
May 5 has been declared #GivingTuesdayNow – a global day of giving and an opportunity for the whole world to unite against the novel Coronavirus pandemic.
Make no mistake, the race against COVID-19 affects us all.
More than two million people internationally have been infected and billions of lives affected.
The hard work is far from over.
You can assist the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) Foundation fast track vital healthcare projects by donating to the Coronavirus Action Fund.
Those projects may include:
- A repurposed TB vaccine to stimulate immunity of frontline healthcare workers
- Defence against superbugs which follow serious COVID-19 infections
- Telehealth to reduce anxiety in residential aged care
- Blood donor sampling to measure levels of undetected ‘prior’ infections
With your help, we may be able to find a treatment that not only helps millions of people in the near future, but countless more in years to come.
We understand these times are difficult for everyone. If you are unable to make a gift, please consider sharing this campaign to help reach people who may be able to assist.
100% of all donations received by the RBWH Foundation will go directly towards the Coronavirus Action Fund. All donations over $2 are fully tax deductible. Please donate today so we can support these important COVID-19 projects.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters like you, the Foundation is doing everything we can to help.
