Eighteen months ago, Gold Coast paralympic hopeful Alexa Leary was fighting for her life after a horrific cycling accident. Today she is back in the pool, making a serious bid for 2024 Paris Paralympic contention.

Tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, Lex will launch 'Flex for Lex', a fundraising appeal for Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH), assisting families, like hers, who need support while their loved one is being treated in intensive care.
